Do Not Disturb

Please don’t attempt to interrupt what Jesus and I have going!  It’s the best thing that ever happened to me.

What is it?  Didn’t  you see my “DO NOT DISTURB” sign?  Please do not disturb me with your gossip and lying, with your jealousy and backbiting, with your envy and hatred.  Sorry, no time… Rephrase:  Not sorry… no time.  I simply cannot afford to allow anything or anyone to keep me from entering into His presence regularly.  In His presence is the fullness of joy (Ps. 16:11) and that joy (of the Lord) is my strength (Neh. 8:10).  I can’t afford to allow you to drain me with foolishness simply for foolishness’ sake.  If you need prayer, healing or deliverance, I’m happy to pray and believe God.  If you need someone to hear and offer sound wisdom, I’m happy to be there.  If you have a praise report, I’m here to rejoice with you.

“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.   But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.   [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.   For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would (Gal. 5:14-17).”

When we choose to walk in love, we provide for ourselves the opportunity to spend time in His presence unencumbered by the weight of the sinful flesh.  After all, the veil was rent that we might go in!  We’re able to enter the Holy of Holies in worship!  Certainly we dare not attempt to enter the presence of a Holy God with envy, backbiting, gossip, confusion and the like.  We must present ourselves holy before a Holy God.  “Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace (Lev. 10:3).”  Worship in progress – do not disturb.

Take care & be blessed…   Please also visit…
