Hatred, envy, jealousy, strife? Oh… no, they don’t live here any more. Moved out some time ago. Where? Not sure where…but hopefully a long way from here.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Cor. 5:17).” Out with the old…in with the new. You see, I’m no longer operating according to the works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21). Kissed them goodbye. Now… I owe no man anything but to love him (Rom. 13:8). I’m not concerned with comparisons, nor am I obsessed with what you have vs what I don’t. I’m not impressed with today’s toys. Wrath kills the foolish man and envy slays the silly one (Job 5:2). So don’t call here looking for the old gang. They don’t live here any more and you’ve got the wrong number. Bitterness, backstabbing, hot gossip…? Oh, they’ve moved out too. Grace and peace are here now. I’m so thankful for the grace of God. And it’s available to you too… I’m so grateful for the gift of salvation…that God sent His only begotten Son, that if we believe in Him, we will have everlasting life (John 3:16). If you haven’t already, I encourage you to invite Christ into your life as your personal Savior. And then watch Him serve some eviction notices on your behalf as well. “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made [you] free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage (Gal. 5:1). Once He brings you out, don’t go back. Instead, allow the God of peace to sanctify you wholly (I Thess. 5:23). Thank you for visiting, following, subscribing. Take care and be blessed.
