“Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious (Ps. 66:2).” Make His Praise Glorious! Notice it’s not optional. Yet, we tend to offer God any old kind of something that we can conjure up and expect that He would gladly accept it.
“And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him (Gen. 4:4-7).”
What is this we’re offering God? Offer Him your best praise–not your half-hearted, unfocused attempt to throw something together quickly and get it over with–not good. He knows the difference. If we do well and praise Him properly, as His Word commands, it will be accepted. Take care & be blessed.
The 7 Levels of Praise Summary (Excerpts)
Amen, God-Sis! And you preached an awesome word! We must worship God in Spirit and in Truth…. That’s the only way that He will accept it! That ‘s the real truth…..
So true God-Sis. We’ve got to give Him what He wants…not just what we want to give Him. Thank you for your encouragement.
“Offer Him your best praise–not your half-hearted, unfocused attempt to throw something together quickly and get it over with–not good”. I couldn’t have put the better myself. Well said sis, well said.

Even we can tell the difference in the gifts we receive. We know when an effort has been made to please us…or when someone has just thrown something together. Bless you, Sis! And thanks for stopping by!
