“And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it (Job 1:7).” Clearly, the enemy is not resting but is seeking us out. Unfortunately, many of us are not conscious of this fact. We think we’re “doing it my way” when we’re actually doing it the devil’s way. We’re under the false assumption that the devil is our friend… like Eve in the garden. It seems she, too, felt the serpent was her friend and that God was holding out, denying her of His very best.
We must understand that… “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).” The enemy, Satan, simply will not be happy until you’re under his grip, completely embarrassed and utterly destroyed. This is the destiny he has for each of us. This why we’re instructed to, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: … (I Pet. 5:8).” He’s on his job. Therefore, we (the called out ones) must also get on ours. Jesus had 12 disciples at one point… and one of them had the devil in him. When we assemble, with more than 12, who’s to say that the devil isn’t also in one of us? These are perilous times–the enemy used to wait right outside of the church and get into us as soon as we came out. Now… he’s literally coming into our churches and snatching us out. He knows his destiny is sealed and that he’s doomed. To say that misery loves company would be an understatement; however, it is apparent that he intends to take as many as he can with him to an eternal hell. Don’t let it be you. …Continued… Thanks for visiting, following, subscribing. Take care & be blessed. Please also visit… www.xtreme-fire.com
