In God We Trust?

“In God We Trust” is our national motto (USA)?  Really?  Is this the best kept secret or what?  The modern motto, “In God We Trust” was established in a 1956 law signed by then President Dwight D. Eisenhower.  Yet, we’re so offended at the mention of God in our schools, government, and other public places.  In 2006 (on its 50th anniversary), the Senate reaffirmed “In God we trust” as the official national motto of the United States of America.  Someone needs to step up and spread the word.  Yes, many of us personally trust in God.  But collectively? As a nation?  Who’d have thought?  I don’t see any signs of this… must be one of the best kept secrets.

Lord, help us to return to being ONE nation UNDER God!  Otherwise (as has been said), we’re simply one nation UNDER!  God bless America!  Turn our hearts toward You.  Teach us Your statutes and help us to obey them with our whole hearts!  Forgive us for our extreme independence… for we have excluded You!  Change our hearts and turn us from sin.  Help us to hate our sin and love Your law.  Help us to truly trust in you… as a nation.  Help us to learn how to lean and depend upon You!  Happy Independence Day!  Thanks for visiting, following, subscribing.  Take care & be blessed.  Please also visit… www.xtreme-fire.com

Amen and Amen. May we know what it is to repent for the sin in our land and to return to the Lord with all of our hearts.

    • Amen to repentance. Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy [it]. -Gen. 18:28 … I hope the answer is still the same…

That’s REAL talk, Sis….! And Amen to that!
