What do you do when a situation or an association deteriorates to a point where it is seemingly irreparable?  I believe in keeping ‘hope alive.’  However, if you’re dealing with an irrational mind, it’s not easy.  When further communication does nothing but aggravate the situation or give the person additional ammunition to escalate the battle, then it should become obvious that their real interest is simply to do battle with you and not to resolve anything and certainly not to live peaceably as God’s Word instructs to do.  Let’s face it… some people just aren’t happy unless they have some type of continuous drama.  Keep in mind also that some actually aren’t even playing with a “full deck” and really can’t help themselves.  Between mental and serious emotional problems and extensive drug use, legal or illegal, it becomes almost impossible to reason with them.  Seriously.  Don’t get caught up in it because it will drain you physically and emotionally.  It’s best to simply move on and continue to pray

for them.  MoveOn.com.  After all, we’re not to called to wrestle against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12)–we’re not called to fight one another.  “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (Matt. 6:14-15).”

“And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him (Luke 17:4).”  We are to forgive but I don’t believe you need to keep going around the same mountain.  Yes, forgive continually but don’t continue to put yourself in the same situation.  If, for example, you had $100 in your wallet and sat it down, went to the ladies room, and returned to find it was no longer there and only two of you were in the building, would you leave another $100 the next night and the next?  All things being equal, I would hope not.   You’ve compassed that mountain long enough… turn ye and go northward.  Move it!

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).”  Thank you for being a merciful God!  Thanks for visiting, following subscribing.  Take care & be blessed.  Please also visit… www.xtreme-fire.com

That’s so right. There comes a time when you’re out of savings in your emotional bank and continuing to be part of a hopeless downhill spiral wears you down uselessly.

There always comes a time when you have to leave off and start fresh with someone/something new.

  2. I suspected the post will have nothing to do with democracy in action. Good play on words

I was just about to call it a night when I see that you are following me…thank you, dearheart…so I figured I’d do a quick stop to meet you. I’m glad I did! I’ve been feeling awful before God because I just cannot have a relationship with two close and dear relatives. They both have mental and addiction issues and they “hate” me for what, I don’t know for sure. You have spoken the answer to my prayer to God. I need to move on. God understands what is what with these two and me.

God bless you in all that you do for His Kingdom, by His power and for His glory~

  5. I’m glad you stopped by. Sometimes we just need to release it, grieve the loss and move on. Otherwise, we wear ourselves out trying to figure it out… May God bless you! And thank you for your encouragement.
