How will the world ever come together in peace and harmony if we, the Body of Christ,  who have the Greater One on the inside still can’t come together?  “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men (Rom. 12:18).”

It’s well past time for us to begin to work with a spirit of unity.  There’s simply no time for bickering over whose supposed to sing the lead, whose turn it is to fry the chicken, or whose name is mentioned, etc.  If we’re Christ-centered, let’s remove ourselves from the equation.  How can we expect the schools to behave and treat our children properly, the gangsters to respect and treat the next one properly, or the world to judge one another by their character… when we have serious issues as well?  In order to operate in the full anointing that God has placed upon our lives, it’s critical that we lay aside our petty differences and become singularly focused…. from the Pentecostal to the Evangelical, from the Baptist to the Presbyterian, from the Catholic to the Reformed Church to the SDA, and every other in between.  It’s time for us to humble ourselves and pray, and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways.  Only then will God hear from heaven and forgive our sin and heal the land (II Chron 7:14).

  1. Good morning,
I always remind people that there is difference between the “spirit of unity” and the “unity of the Spirit” (Ephesians 4:3-6). The spirit of unity can come from any direction but the unity of the Spirit comes only from Heaven. True unity comes from following God and His word alone (1 Corinthians 1:10; John 17:20,21). I agree with your desire to see unity in Christianity.

Amen, sister. You are absolutely correct.

  3. Amen. Pray that the church at large can get it together. There’s too much work to be done to be side-tracked. Blessings!

  4. janice says:

Amen we need to be with ONE accord in unity. May GOD continue to bless you to share with with us.

  5. Tracy says:

Amen, Sis….! My continual prayer is for UNITY…… United we Stand; Divided we Fall!

  6. So true… one can chase a thousand and two can put ten thousand to flight! Yet… a house divided against itself cannot stand. Thank you for this. Blessings!
