Send Your Rain!

“Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth (Hsa 6:3).”

First, LORD, we ask for the rain of your presence. to fall fresh upon us.  Without your presence, we simply have rituals and programs.  Without your presence, we’re merely expending energy going through the motion.  Holy Spirit rain down on us!   We need a total immersion, a fresh and unusual anointing and the resulting power–power to get results.  Send Your rain, God, the former and the latter rain to refresh and revive us in this new year.

Can these [dry] bones live again (Eze. 37:3)?  Yes, for we yet hope in God and Your power to restore and make new.   Send the fire of the Holy Ghost to quicken us, to wake us, shake us and cause us to busy ourselves doing a great work for Your glory!  Help us to position ourselves for the outpour.  Send Your anointing, God, that makes serving in ministry easy, that makes prayer and worship easy.  Without your anointing, we have no passion.  Send Your rain, O God, lest we lose all vital signs.  Send Your rain!
