Calling All Prayer Warriors!

“And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1);”  The enemy, Satan, is busy.  He’s on his job so it behooves us to be on ours, in prayer.  I believe we’re (the Body of Christ is) on the brink of something big.  It would make sense, then, that he (Satan) would launch a major attack against the people of God–against their health, their finances, their peace, their marriages and the like.  It would make him happy to see the people of God broke, busted and disgusted and someone said,  “toe up (excuse the English) from the floe up like throw up.”  He wants to keep us weak and worried.  We must keep each other in prayer.

The Word plainly and continually asks, even commands, that we pray… that we pray for those in authority and the healing of our nation, pray that we enter not into temptation, that we intercede for each other, pray for God’s provision.  His Word says we have not because we ask not or that we ask with the wrong motives (James 4:2-3)  ).

Prayer is always appropriate.  Since it (prayer) is not only us talking to God… but it’s also providing an opportunity, a time and a place, for God to speak back, we need to set aside adequate time for Him to speak to our heart.  We need a Word from the Lord

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Gal. 6:9).”  Don’t give up, no matter the trial, no matter that God seems to be inactive.  He’s actually working on our behalf, even when we can’t see it.  Know that all things work together for good, to them that love God and are the called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28).  Pray and trust God!  And let it go.  Getting all worked up about any situation is counter-productive to our prayers, also to our health.  We’ve just ‘gotta’ trust God.  It’s not always easy… but it’s always the right thing to do… and we’ll be better off for having trust Him.  Take Him at His Word.  Calling all prayer warriors!  Intercede for the Body of Christ!  Thanks for visiting.  Take care & be blessed.  Please also visit… www.xtreme-fire.com
