Don’t Miss the Move… Or the Movement

God is doing an awesome work in the Body of Christ!  But He can move all around the Body… yet not in us!  Don’t miss the move of God!  How can we miss it?  By being happy with our lukewarm selves.  “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Rev. 3:15-16).”  By not hungering nor thirsting for more of God.  “Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matt. 5:6).”  By being carnally-minded, walking in the flesh or caught up in other foolishness.  “For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace (Rom. 8:6).”  By backsliding to the point that we have no interest in spiritual things.  We can’t afford to take a break from walking in the Spirit.  We must remain watchful and alert to the enemy’s tactics–to keep us busy, to keep us discouraged, to keep us distracted and carnal.  Too busy, discouraged and distracted to pray, to study, to worship.  The foolish virgins missed the move.  Why?  They weren’t ready or expecting the entrance of the Bridegroom.  I suppose they were not expecting his sudden arrival.  They were out trying to purchase oil when the Bridegroom came.  They were, for all purposes, lukewarm.  I’m afraid many of us will also be trying to get it together–a little too late.  God is looking for yielded vessels that He can trust with His anointing to carry out His purposes and produce the works of Christ.  He desires to operate in and through us, both corporately and individually to bring His purposes to pass.  He’s not looking for glory-stealers, as all of the glory belongs to Him; and He will not share it with another.  Don’t miss the move of God; don’t miss the blessings of God (I understand they make rich and add no sorrow – Prov. 10:22).  Thanks for visiting.
