Ministering in the Middle of Misery

One of the cures for the dreadful situations we face is to turn our focus elsewhere.  At some time or another, we all experience pain.  If we are able to turn the focus off of ourselves and push past our own pain, we will find that our situation seems less severe and God begins to heal in the midst of it all.  Sometimes we’re even called to minister smack dab in the middle of our own misery.  Somehow there’s always someone worse off; and when we’re feeling low, we receive a call from someone who’s actually dealing with a situation more severe than ours–perhaps a trial that we’ve already overcome.  It is then that we turn the focus off of ourselves and begin to minister to them… whew!  knew that pain would come in handy one day!  It is actually our having gone through something that qualifies us to empathize with the next person.  While we’d all like to be on top of the world all the time, life simply has its ups and downs.  But when we understand that there’s a purpose in the pain, a lesson to be learned, a test we must pass, then we’re able to focus and get through it much more quickly and easily… and we don’t have to continue going around the same mountain repeatedly and aimlessly.  God, help us to pull ourselves together that we may be of value to the next person.  Thanks for visiting… Take care & be blessed…  Please also visit…

This is so true. Each time we go through a pain or trial it takes us to another level in the Lord. We can then help others to trust God for whatever thiers needs are.

  2. Janice,
I appreciate your comments and sense that you are a prophet! =))

  3. I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
