“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.  My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God (Ps. 42:1)?”

Indeed, nothing else will do!  I thirst for You, alone, O God!  I’m in awe of who You are.  You are mighty, holy, perfect and true!  There is none like You.  I’m captivated by your many attributes, by the nature of all that You are.  Who can stand flat-footed in Your presence?  I dare say, none.  I bow before Your majesty!  I prostrate myself before You.  You’re sweeter than anything I know.  Your name is matchless; indeed, everything and everyone pales in comparison to You.  I’m content to linger in Your presence, asking for nothing.  I worship You just for who You are and would exhaust myself attempting to tell all that You are.  You are just too much, and certainly more than enough.  I thirst for you.  Please, come and quench this thirsting of my soul–as only You can.  Refresh and revive me, O God.

Take care & be blessed…  Please also visit…
