With summer here and the end of June in view, it’s a good idea to reflect upon the first half of this year. No doubt we set some sort of goals for ourselves; and hopefully, we’re on track with the plans we purposed to carry out. However, whether or not we’re on course, we must not give up. We simply need to brush ourselves off and keep going and begin again perhaps right where we left off. Know that God has not called us to mediocrity. He has called us to greatness… even if only within our small circle of influence, our small groups. And so we must persist until we succeed. We must constantly move forward. It should not be our goal to just ‘get by’ or to simply be average. We are the head and NOT the tail. Therefore, we must change our mindset to EXPECT greatness and then take actionable steps to achieve it. We have the Greater One on the inside; consequently, nothing shall be impossible for us. “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world (I John 4:4).” We have not reached the ceiling of our potential.
So call forth the talents and treasures that are working or lying dormant in you–call them forward to their next level or wake them up. It’s time to take ‘extraordinary you’ to your next level (me too)! Thanks for visiting.

Thanks! Needed this reminder. Some of my goals from the beginning of the year have slipped into obscurity. Time to brush them off and get back on track! You are so right–God has not called us to mediocrity.
