Getting the Short End of the Stick

Feel like you regularly get the short end of the stick?  Like you keep getting a bad deal?  At home, at work, in friendships, relationships, business deals?  It may be time to more analytical, more suspicious, alert and focused on what’s really going on.  Drop the dead weight, shake it off and keep moving.  Well meaning, big-hearted and compassionate people are many times taken for granted by their selfish counterparts.  However, when it’s all said and done, know that somehow eventually it will work out for your good.  “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose (Romans 8:28).” Meanwhile, change your confession.  Stop declaring that no matter what line you’re in, yours always moves slowest.  God has a way of evening the score and balancing it all out.  So do your due diligence but know that God’s got your back!  Declare that no matter what it looks like, in the end you win!  Declare that you can’t lose with the stuff you use, that you are above and not beneath, that you are the head and not the tail, that you are the lender and not a borrower, that you are the CFO, the CEO, the VP, the EVP.  No more bad deals–even if it started out bad, it will swing in your favor!  Declare that goodness and mercy follows you and that you’re walking in favor and authority.  Declare that yours days of getting a bad deal are over!
